Silk Road — Caravan Privacy Declaration

Last updated: June 2025

Ancient caravans carried goods across vast distances without revealing who sent them or where they came from. Silk Road follows the same tradition — your journey is your own, and we keep no record of the traveller.

The merchant's ledger

Silk Road keeps no personal ledger entry for you. No merchant's name, no route history, no device seal is recorded in our archives. You travel the route anonymously.

Waystation records (server logs)

Like a waystation's brief transit log, our servers may automatically note: browser type, device category, and an anonymised IP fragment. These entries confirm the route is open — they identify no individual traveller.

No spies in the bazaar

Silk Road stations no advertising spies, no behavioural analytics agents, and no third-party observers in the bazaar. The marketplace is private.

The calligrapher (Google Fonts)

Our typefaces are styled by Google Fonts. Your browser's connection to Google's servers may include your IP address. Their own declaration covers what they do with that passage.

Young merchants

Silk Road is a rich, cultural game appropriate for all ages. No violent content, no gambling, no age restrictions apply. Every young merchant is welcome on the route. We collect nothing from any player.

Declaration revisions

Should our caravan route change, this declaration will be updated and redated. Continued travel after any revision is acceptance of the new terms.
