Every merchant on the Silk Road accepted a code of conduct. It kept the route safe for everyone. These are Silk Road's terms — honourable, straightforward, and fair to all traders. By playing, you join the caravan.
The route
Silk Road is a free, browser-based memory card game. Match trade goods and cultural pairs, accumulate gold, and guide your caravan to its destination. No payment. No account.
All merchants welcome
Traders of every age and background are invited onto the route. Silk Road is non-violent, gambling-free, and suitable for all audiences including children.
Gold score
Points are earned per matched pair, with a route multiplier for consecutive successes. Gold points are session-only and carry no real-world monetary value.
No wagering on the route
Silk Road contains no virtual currency, no loot mechanics, no betting systems, and no randomised prize pools of any kind.
Ownership of the route
All creative and technical assets in Silk Road — map design, code, cultural artwork — belong to their creators. Personal play is freely permitted. Commercial reproduction or redistribution requires prior written consent.
Prohibited conduct
Automated bots, exploit tools, and deliberate disruption of the caravan route for other players are strictly prohibited.
No safe arrival guarantee
Silk Road is provided as-is. We make no warranty of uninterrupted access and hold no liability for indirect losses arising from gameplay.
Agreement revisions
These merchant terms may be revised at any time. The date above will be updated when they are. Continued play constitutes acceptance.
